Although shops have been full of Halloween decorations for weeks, most venues in Bordeaux waited until now to announce their events. The good news? The full spooky program is finally here. From family activities to late-night parties, here’s where to celebrate Halloween in Bordeaux and the region in 2025.

Halloween in and around Bordeaux
Château de Vayres
Château de Vayres always hosts the best Halloween events! This year, their Halloween weekend will take place on October 25-26 with all the Halloween classics: witches, phantoms, and werewolves. The two-day event will be accompanied by exceptional Halloween decorations and plenty of activities. For more details, click here.

Halloween brunch and kids party- Mama Shelter
Mama Shelter never misses a chance to celebrate Halloween! This year, they are hosting a kids’ Halloween party on October 25, a Halloween brunch on October 26 and a spooky adults party on October 31st. Reservations are a must for both events. See more details here.
Arcachon Fête Halloween
Like every year, the town of Arcachon is hosting a big Halloween event in the city center on October 25. All the details will be published here.
Halloween at Château de Villandraut
This year, the medieval Château de Villandraut invites you to a life-size Murder Party on October 25, 31, and November 1. Step back to 1325, when intrigue, betrayal, and a mysterious murder shake the castle. From 9pm to 11pm, participants (12+) will play their roles, uncover secrets, and try to solve the crime. Tickets are €15 per person.

Rollerween Party
On October 31, the Garage Moderne in Bordeaux hosts a Halloween night on wheels with the BDX Rollergirls. From 6pm to midnight, enjoy a roller disco (bring your skates or rent on site), a costume contest, DJ sets, and plenty of spooky snacks and drinks.

Halloween Party at Blonde Venus
On October 31, 2025, Blonde Venus at the Bassin à Flot turns into a bloody playground for its Halloween party, themed “Massacre à la Tronçonneuse.” Expect gore-inspired scenography, forbidden cocktails, and a DJ set by Corazón that promises a night of thrills from 9pm to 2am. Sensitive souls beware 🙂

Halloween at the Zoo
This Toussaint holiday (Oct 18-31), the Zoo of Pessac has prepared a spooky and fun-filled program with haunted trails, face painting, scavenger hunts, and thrilling animal encounters. Get ready for a magical and mysterious Halloween experience, perfect for the whole family! See all the details here.
Halloween at Parc de la Coccinelle
From October 18 to November 2,, Parc de la Coccinelle celebrates the 2nd edition of its Halloween festival. The park transforms with pumpkins, hay bales, and playful skeletons, creating a magical family atmosphere. Kids can enjoy make-up, treasure hunts, a tombola, and daily magic shows for extra thrills. 👉 More info here.
Halloween au Château de Duras
Château de Duras will celebrate its annual Halloween party on October 31. The party is for adults and kids over 10 years old, you can buy tickets here. From October 18 to November 2md (the autumn school break), Château de Duras will also host plenty of activities and workshops for younger kids. See all the details here.

The School of Witches – Château de Bridoire
Le Château de Bridoire in Dordogne, also known as the Castle of Games, is hosting a game called The School of Witches, which should be fun for both kids and adults. The activities are about to take place daily during the kids’ fall break from October 18 to November 2. On the weekend of Oct 30- Nov 1, the château is also organizing Halloween nights with a murder party escape game.

La Guinguette d’Halloween
Join the Halloween festivities on October 31 at the La Teste de Buch Market, featuring spooky animations and delicious treats from 6 PM to 10 PM. See info here. See more info here.
