The fact that its quite cold and rainy in Bordeaux doesn’t mean we can’t continue to party! Several parties and festivals are taking place this weekend in Bordeaux, among them a magic festival and an open-air music festival in Talence. Although most Halloween celebrations are taking place next week, some cool events start coming in among them the Hallowing party at Chateau de Vayres and the kids’ party on the IBOAT. If you want the full list of Halloween events for this year, go to my latest article about where to celebrate Halloween in Bordeaux. Before we start this weekend’s list I just wanted to wish good luck to all the Bordeaux Marathon runners! If you want to see what events are taking place in Bordeaux in November, you can read it here. Here’s the list of things to do this weekend in Bordeaux (October 25-27)
Finally, after a long delay, the Bordeaux Marathon is back! The Marathon will take place on October 26 in the historic city center, allowing the runners to cross all the historic sites and some of Bordeaux’s biggest wineries. The Marathon will start at 20:00 which makes it even more special as runners can see the city by night with special decorations just for the event. Most of us are probably not in shape for the 42km run, but that should not prevent us from enjoying the atmosphere in the city as well as seeing others run 🙂 For more info about the activities on that day click here.
