As many people have left the city for school break, there aren’t as many events this weekend compared to the rest of March. But there are still a few nice things to do. My favorite one this weekend is the Vide-greniers des Bordelais with garage sales taking place all over the city. It looks like it’s going to be a rainy weekend so my article about what to do in Bordeaux when it’s raining is going to be quite useful. If the weather is nice you can always escape for a day trip to Arcachon, for that you can follow my new article about the best places to visit on the Arcachon Bay. If you want to see what else is taking place this month don’t forget to read my March list. Here’s the list of things to do this weekend in Bordeaux (February 28 – March 1).
Vide-greniers des Bordelais
One of my favorite things to do in France is to wander around vide greniers (the French version of a garage sale) discover what French people hold in their homes and buy a lot of stuff I don’t really need at ridiculously low prices. On March 1st, more than 20 vide-greniers will take place all over the city. Check out the list of all the locations here.
