This weekend “rive gauche” is simply killing it! There are several events that make it worthwile to cross the Garonne to the hipster part of Bordeaux. The carnival exhibition will be inaugurated this weekend, there’s a block party in Darwin to end the black history month and of course the annual chocolate fair at Jardin Botanique (could be a great idea for valentines’ day). Other than that, there’s a kids dance festival, an event dedicated to games, concerts, exhibitions and more. If you want to see what else is on in Bordeaux soon, go to my February list or my March list, which I just released, so it’s fresh from the oven. My Facebook group “Travel in the Southwest of France” is also a good place to check out other events taking place in the region, people there seem to be very knowledgable.  Here’s the list of things to do this weekend in Bordeaux (February 14-16).
