It’s Halloween time! This year Bordeaux is compensating for two years of almost no Halloween events with plenty of horror parties, kids workshops, and the famous Bordeaux Zombie walk!
Here’s a list of Halloween events taking place in the Bordeaux region (and some in Dordogne) in 2022.

Halloween in Bordeaux
Zombie walk de Bordeaux
The Zombie Walk of Bordeaux is probably one of the best ways to get into the Halloween spirit. This year the event will take place on October 29, starting at 14:00. The program includes a DJ set at Place de la Bourse and a miss Zombie competition. See all the details here.
Randonné nuit du Roller- Spécial Halloween
Here’s a special way to celebrate Halloween- on rollerblades! Nuit Du Roller Spécial Halloween will take place on Friday, November 28, starting at 21:00 from Pay Berland. The event is free and open to all. See more details here.
Stranger Things x Blonde Venus
Blonde Venus, located at the Bassin a Flot is hosting a Halloween evening dedicated to the series “Stranger things”. The party will take place on Monday, October 31st, see all the details and tickets here.
Blonde Venus • Halloween: kids day monstrueux
Another fun Halloween event at the Blonde Venus (Iboat) is dedicated to kids! On October 30, they will be hosting a party with DIY mask workshops, music, and sweet surprises. See more details here.
Halloween weekend – Mama Shelter
Like every year Mama Shelter is dedicating a whole weekend to Halloween with a few events for kids and adults. The special weekend will start with a kids’ Halloween party on Saturday afternoon (October 29) and end with a Halloween brunch on Sunday (October 30) – with a babysitting service included 🙂
Apart from that, Mama Shelter will host two costume parties with a DJ set on October 29 and 31. See more details here.
La nuit d’Halloween dans un cimetière de Bordeaux
Have you ever visited the cimetière de la Chartreuse in Bordeaux? If the answer is no, this Halloween is an amazing opportunity to do that! The tourist office offers a night visit to the cemetery, which is considered one of the most interesting ones in France. The tour will take place on October 31 at 19:00, see more details here.
Halloween Roller Party – Darwin
On October 31, Darwin is hosting a Halloween Roller Party for kids (3-12 yo). See all the details here.

La Boca FoodCourt is having a Halloween event on October 30 where activities for kids will be offered. For more info click here.
Halloween around Bordeaux
Château de Vayres
One of the best Halloween events is finally back this year! Chateau de Vayres invites you to their Halloween weekend on October 29-30 with all the Halloween classics: witches, phantoms, and werewolves. The two days event will be accompanied by exceptional Halloween decorations and plenty of activities. For more details click here.
Also throughout the school break (until November 4), the chateau will host afternoons for kids (3-12 years old) with workshops to create monsters and different surprises in the château and its beautiful gardens. For more info and reservation click here.
Halloween & fête de la citrouille
The town of Cadaujac is hosting a fun event on October 31 that will combine the two best things of this period: Halloween and pumpkins! The program includes a labyrinth for little kids, a scary trail for older kids, and a lot of pumpkin-related food.
Halloween et sa fête de la Citrouille will take place at Le Parc du Château. See all the details here.
Halloween au Château de Rauzan
Château de Rauzan in the Entre Deux Mers region is celebrating Halloween with a fun program that includes a treasure hunt, night visits, fire shows, and more. The events will take during the school break from October 25 to November 4. For more details click here.
Halloween au Château de Villandraut
Château de Villandraut never disappoints and like every year they offer a great Halloween program. This year the events will take place from October 28 to November 2 and the program includes a treasure hunt, a murder party, and more. Check out all the details here.
Halloween au Château de Duras
Château de Duras will celebrate its annual Halloween party on October 31. The party is for adults and kids over 10 years old. There are different opening hours for each age group, so read all the details before you go. For more info click here.
School of witches in Château de Bridoire
If you don’t mind traveling a bit then you would also enjoy this event. The Château de Bridoire in Dordogne, also known as the castle of games, is hosting a game called the school of witches, which should be fun for both kids and adults. The activities are about to take place daily during the kids’ fall break from October 22 to November 6. On the weekend of October 29 – 31, the château is also organizing Halloween nights with a murder party escape game. See all the details here.
Treasure Hunt is Bergerac
About 15 minutes drive from the Chateau de Bridoire in the city of Bergerac, you can also participate in a big Treasure hunt for kids (6-10 yo). The activities will take place on October 26 and November 2. For all the details click here.
