My Favorite Places in Bordeaux & Gironde

All in One Map

After years of exploring Bordeaux and the Gironde for Lost in Bordeaux, I gathered all my favorite discoveries into one Google Map.

With more than 250 spots across Bordeaux and the entire Gironde region, the map includes everything from wineries and oyster villages to beautiful restaurants, beaches, cafés, markets, castles, and hidden gems.

This is the map I personally use whenever I explore the region myself.

Instead of spending hours searching online, you can simply open the map and instantly find places that are actually worth visiting.

Why This Map Is Different

Constantly Updated

I regularly add new discoveries and remove places that have closed or no longer feel worth recommending.

No Sponsored Recommendations

Most places were added simply because I genuinely loved them, not because anyone paid to be featured.

Saves You Hours of Research

Instead of spending hours searching online, you’ll have hundreds of tried-and-tested places already organized for you.

My Favorite Way to Use the Map

One of my favorite things about the map is using it to plan spontaneous day trips from Bordeaux.

You’ll notice that many places naturally create little clusters on the map. A winery next to a beautiful village, a local restaurant near a beach, or a château close to a market I love.

Instead of researching for hours, you can simply open the map and start building your perfect day based on the places already saved there.

It’s almost like having years of local discoveries already organized for you.
