Best Things to Do with Kids in Biarritz

Visit the Biarritz Aquarium

One of the most popular attractions in Biarritz is the Biarritz Aquarium, which is located in an art-deco building next to Rocher de la Vierge. The museum includes huge aquariums with fish, sharks, and seals. You can also learn about the history of whales in Biarritz through a series of exhibits. This place is very popular with kids and can be a great escape for a rainy day.

You can buy the tickets online, and if you’re also planning to visit the Cité de l’Océan, I recommend purchasing the combined ticket.

Go to the Beach

Biarritz is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in France. Grande Plage is the most famous, but families might also enjoy the quieter Milady Beach, perfect for kids with its playground and shallow waters. One of my favorite beaches in the center of Biarritz is Port Vieux! It’s located on a tiny bay between two cliffs creating a very sheltered beach which makes it the safest place for kids and adults to swim.
